Brew Spicy Tulsi tea or Cinnamon Apple Tulsi, Chai Green tea or Chocolate Chai Black tea for a healing elixir. Chai as we know it is really a healing blend of herbs and spices. While we love the flavor, remember while we sip that we are giving our body medicine.
There seems to be a synergy when spices like cinnamon, cardamom, clove, ginger, allspice, fennel, star anise, and black pepper come together even though they are all known for healing benefits. These spices individually and collectively, are antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and full of antioxidants as well as aid in helping balance blood sugar and increase insulin sensitivity. Many spice mixes we use, and love are also warming to the body and stimulate circulation as well as aid in digestion. Hard working!
