**Spirulina has been used over 1000 years in South America. It is a simple single-celled blue-green algae that grows in a spiral-like shape, hence its name.

Mostly amino acids, including all the essentials, Spirulina is 65% protein delivered in an easy to digest and absorptive form. It is also a rich source of B-complex vitamins known for boosting energy, and for its support for eye, brain and nerve health. High in iron, to help build blood, as well as containing lots of chlorophyll.

Spirulina contains 26 times the calcium found in milk and is high in Omega 3's, including the anti-inflammatory GLA. (Gamma Linolenic Acid)
