A Pot of Gold

Calendula or "pot Marigold" is one of the earliest medicinal plants. In the 13th century, calendula petals were used to "comfort the heart and spirit". The bright gold color brought good cheer.

Today Marigold flower petals are used for a healthy heart, inflammation of the digestive tract to soothe stomach lining and bowels, and to relieve congestion in the lymph system

Marigold is beneficial for easing menstrual difficulties as well as used for its anti-viral properties.

In some countries Marigold is used as a wash for skin infection and a remedy for cuts and sores.

When Marigold is used in your tea imagine having specks of gold in your cup!!
